CMC is pleased to announce the release of C-007, the Ferrari Dino 156 F1 "Sharknose" in 1:12 scale. In 1961, Phil Hill, driving a Sharknose for the Ferrari team, became the first American F1 World Champion.
This hand-assembled model is made of 1,945 single parts. It is an authentic replica of the winning car of Phil Hill crowned at the GP-Belgium in Spa on the 18th of June 1961. We used only materials of the finest quality for this model, including copper, aluminium, stainless steel, cloth and leather. You will find countless detail-exact features in this model,
such as removable spoke wheels, a true-to-the-original wheel suspension, and authentically-replicated shock absorbers and coil springs. The rear axle drive shafts, with functional cardan joints, rotate when the rear wheels are turning. This rotation causes the perforated clutch bell housing to turn in sync with the drive shafts. Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, this magnificent replica will make a treasured collector’s item.
